Keyboard Conversations: Chopin and Bach

Keyboard Conversations®...are a concert-plus with lively commentary by renowned pianist, Jeffrey Siegel. A Keyboard Conversation is primarily a concert and each work on the program is performed in its entirety. As the significant plus, Mr. Siegel speaks briefly and informally to the audience before performing each composition, illustrating with a few pertinent musical examples from the keyboard. Our hope is that this unique format will make the music more accessible and the listening experience more focused and meaningful.

A native of Los Angeles, Grammy-nominated drummer SAMMY MILLER has become known for his unique maturity and relentless focus on making music that “feels good” as a drummer, singer, and bandleader. Upon completing his Master’s at The Juilliard School, Sammy formed his ensemble, THE CONGREGATION. As a band they are focused on sharing the power of community through their music—joyful jazz. This is a return engagement for SAMMY MILLER AND THE CONGREGATION due to popular demand as a Spotlight Artist last season.
